Tele Vue Panoptic 27mm Eyepiece

Housed in a 2" barrel, the 27mm Tele Vue Panoptic is lighter & smaller than similar eyepieces on the market today. It's perfect for any telescope size, type, or speed when a little more magnification is desired, yet the 27mm Panoptic still allows full field viewing with eyeglasses.

 The Panoptic's six-element, four-group optical design provides sharp, high-contrast images with excellent color correction. Fully multi-coated optics provide optimum light through-put for a clearer, brighter view than competing brands. 

Tele Vue Panoptic eyepieces are manufactured with the best materials in the industry.  Besides superb optical glass and state-of-the-art multi-coatings, each Panoptic has the following features:

• Blackened lens edges to fight the effects of stray light and keep contrast high
• Filter threads machined into the barrel to accept standard 1.25" or 2" filters
• Rubber grip rings keep your Panoptic in your hands until you're ready to let them go
• An undercut in the eyepiece barrel for extra locking security
• A soft rubber eyecup folds down for eyewear use
